Dr. Hubard, a native of Mexico City, attended boarding school in Michigan at the age of 9, where his parents hoped he could learn the English language. It was at this early stage that he fell in love with the United States. After attending Summer Camp that same year, he promised himself that someday he would become part of this amazing country. Dr. Hubard completed his initial dental training in the Latin-American University of Mexico City and in June of 1981 he was accepted at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he completed his training in Endodontics.
Dr. Hubard later became an assistant professor at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he taught in the department of Endodontics for 4 years. In addition to teaching future colleagues, he published several articles in the Journal of Endodontics. In November 1986, he was invited to join a group of endodontists in South Florida, where he practiced for a short while. Dr. Hubard always had a dream of owning his own practice. On weekends he and his wife would travel to different cities throughout Florida. When they both came to Tallahassee, they realized that this was the perfect place for them. Without hesitation, in May 1987, he opened his very own practice in Tallahassee, where he has been providing endodontic care to the local community for over 35 years.
Dr. Hubard has been married to his lovely wife, Luz Maria, for over 40 years. They have 3 wonderful, grown children and 3 lovely grandchildren. Dr. Hubard, is an avid woodworker as well as a machinist. He loves spending time in his well-equipped workshop and traveling with his entire family whenever possible.
